Sundays are a time to gather together with people who live, work, and play all over the Salt Lake Valley and celebrate the good news of Jesus Christ. We firmly believe that our building is a great resource, but it is the people of God that make up the church.
What to expect this sunday
We sing god’s word
Our music team leads the congregation in worship. We sing songs that express truths about God, that encourage us, and call us to leave sin behind.
We pray
We believe in the power of prayer. We pray during our gatherings on Sunday. After the sermon, we also provide an opportunity for anyone who wishes to receive prayer.
We preach the bible
Church of the Valley preaches through books of the bible, with attention to balancing time in the Old and New Testaments. Any Sunday you visit, expect to hear from the Bible that is gospel-centered and accessible.
We celebrate
We love celebrating stories of God’s grace during our gatherings. On any given Sunday you can expect to celebrate baptisms, stories of life change, and how God is at work in the Valley.
